Bill McCaskill has spent his life serving the people of Randolph County.

With more than three decades dedicated to protecting children and supporting families, Bill built his career on compassion, accountability, and real-world problem solving. He served 32 years in Child Protective Services, including 25 years on the front lines and 7 years as a supervisor, working directly with abused and neglected children.

Bill’s commitment extended beyond his daily work. He served on a state committee responsible for shaping child welfare legislation, helping improve laws that protect North Carolina’s most vulnerable. He also volunteered with the Guardian ad Litem program, advocating for children in the court system.

A graduate of East Carolina University, Bill has always called Randolph County home. He lives in Asheboro, where he has continued his service to the community as a former member of the Asheboro City Council.
